Community Based The Isshinkai Aikido Academy is at the heart of a local community. This is a community of people from all walks of life who share a common path in Aikido. The focal point for this community is The Andover Aikido Club. The Academy works hand in hand with the Club to provide a broad basis of practice for Academy students. Academy students attend Club classes and practices as part of their schedule of training. This connection gives students a rich background of experience, exposure to a variety of points of view on life and a broad spectrum of people to practice with. We regard this as a great asset in their preparation for a future in Aikido. The Club is a Regional Club offering Classes every weekday at the Aikido Centre in Fyfield, home of the Academy, as well as classes at a number of other venues. Academy students also attend daily early-morning practice as a core element of their training. Full & Part-time Courses at the Isshinkai Aikido Academy
